the planning application for 1 Silk Street has been validated by the City and is now ‘live’ for comments. Formal letters have been delivered to certain properties indicating a closing date for comments of 29 October.

We appreciate that the volume of documents included in the application is somewhat overwhelming - over 300 items, some of which run to many hundreds of pages each. As soon as the campaign team has reviewed them in more detail, we will offer you a route map to the items that outline the proposed scheme most clearly, and which may give you the most cause for concern.

There is no limit to the number of objections you can make so you can feel free to make an initial comment and update it in the light of the further advice we intend to offer. we have engaged professional consultants in the fields of planning, heritage, environment, right to light and legal counsel to review the plans. We will be able to share their advice on robust grounds for opposition in advance of the consultation deadline
